Elizabeth Unruh ~ Where life unfolds in unexpected ways.: 2012

Yikes!!! Not again! Didn’t we just switch the calendar over to 2012 the other day? If I actually stop and think (a task I should probably do more often), this year was packed; so why does it feel so short? As usual, I have come to the end of the year with my “To Do” list sort of marked off, and the “How on Earth Did That Happen?” list filled up and snaking around the back of the page. I do enjoy the occasional twist in the plotline of my life, but somewhere along the way I got into the roller-coaster line and I am not a big fan of roller coasters! I am more of the theme-ride type. One of my favorite rides is Disneyland’s Mr. Toads Wild Ride; you walk through Toad Hall, climb into an old-fashioned “Motor-car,” zip through the English countryside, get run over by a train, end up in hell . . . okay, so the ride isn’t a life model, but it sure is fun!

So here we are 20-13, waiting in line, do I need to pack a brown baggie for this one? Happy New Year everyone!!!
