Ahhh!!! “Time? Here time!” Seriously, time is passing at an alarming rate. With winter looming around the corner, the “to do” list has become the “Urgent! Must do!” list. I have pushed all the outdoor projects to the top of my priorities; thus far I have harvested the tomatoes (though I have yet to pull up all the vines), picked six perfect little pumpkins, and planted cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Then to gather wood from around the property, organize and take in the recycle (this should be #1, thank goodness we have a big garage), and take care of the chickens we do not want to winter-over.
Unfortunately, after running full steam trying to get something crossed off my yard-long list, the last thing I feel like doing is sitting down and writing about it; besides, does the World Wide Web really want to hear about tomato horn worms and chicken drama? All I generally feel like doing at the end of the day is sitting down to a good movie with a bowl of popcorn and a cup of tea . . . and a few pieces of chocolate . . . maybe some cheese and crackers . . . one of the rules of being a night owl is you must eat at night!
I digress. The point of this post was to clear the dust from my poor neglected blog. I started this blog for several reasons, one being that I wanted a scrapbook of all the important things that come along life’s road. So on that note, I cannot believe it is already November!!!! I need to get blogging and I need to pull out the pilgrim decorations. Where did I put that list . . . ?
Lost my comment I think :(
