Today the HPB Society finished reading A Town like Alice by Nevil Shute. I have loved this book for many years, and it has gradually worked its way into my #1 favorite book spot. It isn’t a terribly long book, and I would not even say it is the most eloquently written piece of fiction, but it captures all the elements of struggle, survival, love, dreams, and adventure, and wraps it all up into one beautiful story. Anyone who has read it knows what I mean, and if you haven’t, get yourself a copy now!!!
Reading aside, I am also quite happy with the extensive amount of DLC work I was able to get done today, and quite unhappy that I have not added any extra exercise into my day thus far. Maybe I will get in a few sit-ups and modified push-ups (okay girly push-ups -- never had much upper body strength) while we watch a movie tonight. Why wasn't I given a great love of exercising? It would be a nice compliment to my great love of good food!
