Now that July is here, the baby chicks have officially turned one month old. They have morphed from cute little puff balls into rather gangly, half feathered, mini chickens. One good thing about the chicks growing up, we know for sure it is one rooster and five hens. I am very happy that I will not have to do any butchering this fall, not to mention the fact that we will have one more egg producer!
